Shri Vishnu Temple Janjgir Chhattisgarh
Vishnu temple was built by the kings of Haihya dynasty in the 12th century, which is currently situated near Bhima pond in the old settlement of Jojgir. To make a complete temple, it was constructed in two parts. But the work of joining both the parts was not completed in time, the result was that even today both the parts are kept on separate lands. The temple has not been completed yet, hence it is known as Nakta Temple by the local people. The statues of gods, goddesses, Gandharvas and Kinnars in the walls of the temple attract tourists.
