In the month of Sawan, Shri Vishwanath Temple becomes the main center of devotees. On every Monday of the month of Sawan, thousands of people come to offer water to Lord Bholenath and long queues of devotees are formed.

Shri Vishwanath Temple located on Mandir Marg in Jamalpur Colony has been the center of faith and reverence of devotees for the last 45 years. Set up in a small room in the year 1977, the temple has taken a grand form today. People from far and wide come here to worship Lord Shiva.

Lord Shiva along with the entire family is seated in the temple and the temple becomes the main center of devotees in the month of Sawan. On every Monday of the month of Sawan, thousands of people come to offer water to Lord Bholenath and long queues of devotees are formed. In the main temple here Lord Shiva is seated with the whole family.

All festivals are celebrated in the temple.

During the day the blue sky behind the statue of Lord Bholenath spreads its splendor. Apart from the Shiva temple, the idols of Bajrang Bali, Ram Darbar, Durga Mata are the center of attraction here. On the day of Sivaratri large number of devotees gather here and celebrate Navaratri, Sivaratri and Janmashtami.

Bholenath himself is seated in the temple. It is believed that if a person offers water to the Shivlinga continuously for 40 days, then his every wish is fulfilled. A large number of devotees thronged the temple every day. He makes every effort to ensure that the visiting devotees do not face any inconvenience.
