Siddheshwar Shiva Temple Uttarbadarpur,Assam

Siddheswer Siva temple is situated on the Barak River bank near Badarpurghat crossing the B. G. rail line. Saint Kapil was successful in his search for God Siva here in this place for which it was named Siddeswar, Very beautiful place of pilgrim of very very old origin Calm and quite and no crowd. Large area of the temple has been eroded by the river so the temple has been renovated accordingly. There are about 4 small temples here and you descend steps from the road to reach the temple. It receives lots of visitors during ShivaRatri.
