Somnath Temple Nadi Mohalla, Pali, Rajasthan

Somnath Temple is a famous temple of Lord Shiva in Pali city. This temple was built by King Kumarpal Solanki of Gujarat in Vikram Samvat 1209.

The Somnath temple located in the main market of Pali has amazing craftsmanship. Famous for its rich history, the Somnath temple has intricate carvings on the shikhara and pinnacles. Inside the Somnath temple there is a Shivalinga as well as idols of Parvati, Ganesha and Nandi. Raj Kumar Pal Solanki had brought this Shiva Linga from Saurashtra region of Gujarat.
