This temple is located in Amarabhati town in Guntur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Amareshwara Swamy or Amaralingeshwara Swamy means Lord Shiva. That is, these two names are the other two names of Lord Shiva. This temple of Lord Shiva is located on the southern bank of the river Krishna.
