1500 year old temple. About 20 kms from Nandyal, in the Nallamala hills. Three holy ponds are in the temple, devotees are taking bath and worship Lord Shiva. Better to have Dharsan from 4.30 A.M, to 7.00 A.M,(suprabhata seva and Sparsha dharsan i.e., Devotees can touch the deity). For these sevas tickets can be obtained in the temple office counter by paying the prescribed amount. The holy ponds are well maintained. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple.
