Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple, located in Hassan, Karnataka, is a revered ancient temple dedicated to Lord Ranganatha, a form of Lord Vishnu. This temple is a significant pilgrimage site for devotees of Vaishnavism. The temple is known for its Dravidian architectural style, with a majestic entrance tower (Raya Gopuram) and intricately carved stone pillars. Inside, the temple houses a stunning idol of Lord Ranganatha reclining on the serpent Ananta, symbolizing cosmic preservation. The temple is an important center of spiritual and cultural activities and attracts many visitors, especially during the festival of Vaikuntha Ekadashi.

Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple Konapur is located in Hassan district of Karnataka state. The temple is located in the backwater catchment area of ​​Gurur Dam. The temple is surrounded by water. There is also a way to go to this temple.

This island like temple is located at just 2 km from Karur. It presents a scenic surrounding covered with water all around. Tucked away in Karnataka, this place is truly a hidden gem for travelers. From Gorur, a narrow path cutting through the backwaters leads to the temple, making the approach itself feel special. A short flight of steps takes you up to the sanctum for darshan. While the temple structure appears to be of pretty recent construction.

Nice view one can get while visiting the temple. The temple itself is quite small and with a standing statue of lord Ranganthaswamy along with Lord Hanuman.

The temple is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM every day. The temple of Ranganatha swamy is on top of a small hillock and surrounded by the backwaters of Hemavathi Reservoir. Should be around 50 steps to climb and behind the temple you can get down to the river bank.

Recently constructed temple on an island connected by a small road to mainland.  The temple is renovated recently with some amenities Area, Foot steps, Temple wall and sitting area.
