Sri sathya narayana padhuga temple

6 Av. Anatole France, 94600 Choisy-le-Roi, France

Sri Sathya Sai Baba was born on November 23, 1926, being named Sathyanarayana Raju, in a village called Puttaparthi, in the state of Andra Pradesh in southern India. Even as a child, he already stood out from other children his age, with his spirituality and contemplative nature. He was often called by “Guru” and “Brahmajnani” in his village.

But it was on October 20, 1940, that he made his historic declaration of his Avatar and that the world was able to discover the divine phenomenon. Today, millions of devotees all over the world worship him and proclaim him as the Avatar and the incarnation of Shirdi Sai Baba. Thousands of devotees gather every day at the Prasanthi Nilayam. During his declaration, Swami announced the following messages:

– “I have come to rebuild the ancient way to God.”

– “My work is the spiritual regeneration of humanity through Truth and Love.”

– “My essential tasks are to protect the Vedas and the faithful.”

– “This Sai has come with the intention of accomplishing the supreme task of uniting all mankind in one family by the bond of brotherhood, affirming and illuminating each individual with the Reality of the Self in such a way as to reveal to him the divine which is the basis on which the whole cosmos rests”.

Sai Baba literally means “Faithful and Truthful”.

Swami with Sai Gita

His ashram was established near the village of Puttaparthi for his Darshans (Darshan: when devotees are in eye contact with Swami): Swami moves around to bless his devotees and provide them with spiritual comfort. “Prashanti Nilayam” means “abode of supreme peace”.

Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is an Avatar with two major roles:

– He was first of all a great Spiritual Master, famous for his simplicity and gentleness. As Swami said: he has come to confirm to each individual his own faith. His formula for man to have a wonderful life is his 5 way path of:

• Sathya = Truth.
• Dharma = Right Action.
• Shanti = Peace.
• Prema = Love.
• Ahimsa = Non-Violence.

The prescriptions of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, in order to heal our sick World are Love for God, fear of sin and Morality of society.

– Secondly, Swami is an inexhaustible reservoir of Pure Love. He was thus able to contribute to several projects such as the construction of hospitals, free and independent schools, free drinking water supplies or even the construction of free housing.

Swami was thus able to inspire his millions of devotees present throughout the world to follow and continue to practice this example of solidarity and to help the world to heal in the service of God.

Sri Sathya Sai Super Specialty Hospital

On March 28, 2011, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was admitted to Sri Sathya Sai Super Specialty Hospital at Prashantigram in Puttaparthi. After about a month of hospitalization, Swami left his physical body at the age of 85, on Sunday, April 24 at 7:40 a.m. (India time).

As he had announced, Swami will be reborn as Prema Sai Baba in the state of Karnataka.

To conclude, we end with these sentences that he had written to his brother in a letter in 1947, concerning his mission in our world**:

“I have a task which is to encourage all mankind and ensure a life filled with happiness for all. I have one wish: To bring back again, all those who have strayed from the right path, in kindness and to keep them. I am attached to a job that I love: To remove the sufferings of the poor and to offer them what they don’t have. “. – SAI BABA.
