Survaya Ki Garhi is a historical site located in Guna district of Madhya Pradesh. It is believed to be constructed between the 8th and 9th centuries during the reign of the Gurjara-Pratihara dynasty. This ancient fort has great historical importance and is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the region.

The structure of the fort consists of a high earthen rampart that surrounds a rectangular area. There was a moat filled with water around the fort, which provided additional protection from enemy attacks. The ramparts of the fort are 10 meters high and 8 meters wide at the base. The fort was built to protect the city from enemy attacks and served as a military post during the Gurjara-Pratihara period.

The walls of the fort are made of stone and bricks and are decorated with intricate carvings and sculptures. There are also many gates for protection which are decorated with ornate carvings. The most impressive feature of the fort is the main gate, known as Suraj Pol. The entrance is decorated with intricate carvings of the sun god, Surya.

The fort is also home to several temples that were built during the Gurjara-Pratihara period. These temples are dedicated to various Hindu deities including Shiva, Vishnu and Goddess Durga. The temples are decorated with elaborate carvings and sculptures depicting Hindu mythology.

Suravaya ki Garhi is a popular tourist attraction which is visited by thousands of tourists every year. This site is very important from historical and archaeological point of view and is an important part of the cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh.
