The unbroken text of Shri Ramcharitmanas: Some important points.

Getting Akhand Ramayana done has sure results. There is no doubt about this. Provided the lesson is done properly. The lesson should not be fragmented.

It is said that Akhand Ramayana started being recited during the time of Goswamiji. Which still happens somewhere or the other. Some people do this recitation for virtuous gains and some for well-being or fulfillment of any other wish.

Apart from reciting Akhand Ramayana, many devotees recite it regularly daily. Even if you read only a few couplets every day. Some people recite Maasparayan and some people also recite Navahparayan. This is also very fruitful.

With changing times, there has been a lot of change in the basic structure of Akhand Ramayana, which is very wrong. And it doesn’t even give proper results.

A qualified ritualistic Brahmin should be brought to recite Akhand Ramayana. Who can complete the necessary puja. And according to your purpose or wish, you should start reciting Akhand Ramayana by selecting the appropriate package. This is usually completed within twenty-four hours. After this there should be havan, aarti, bhajan and food.

The most important thing during Akhand Ramayana is that the recitation should continue continuously until the recitation is completed. There should be no interruption in between. Where the lesson is going on, no one should talk about anything inappropriate, nor should the people doing the lesson talk about anything other than the lesson.

Nowadays, there have been many recruits in the country and society. The lesson site should be protected from recruits. They should not be allowed to recite the text. Only those who have faith and belief in Shri Ramcharitmanas, Lord Shri Ram and Goswami Tulsidas Ji Maharaj are entitled to say, do and get the lesson done.

It is often seen that people organize Akhand Path. Whereas those who recite Ramayana do not make arrangements for capable people. Which is very important. Such recruits who never read Shri Ramcharitmanas come to recite the text. Many people keep their mouths full of paan or gutka and spit keeps falling while speaking. Such people read very wrongly. Whereas the text should be pure. These people come for entertainment, they have nothing to do with purity.

There are many people who don’t even pay attention to the packets they keep. They say something once and something else the next time. Whereas this should not happen.

It should be read exactly as it is written in Shri Ramcharitmanas. You should not add or subtract anything from your mind. Not even Rama, Siyarama etc. If there was a need, Goswamiji himself would have added it. A devotee-saint like him has not been born in this Kaliyuga and will never be. Therefore one should not show off too much. Should be read absolutely clearly and accurately. What happens is that people add anything as per their wish. At one place I heard that people were also adding Jai Ambe Gauri etc.

Overall, this is to say that it should be kept in mind that the unbroken text should not be fragmented. The text should be very clear and pure. For this, students should take rest in between. Saying without rest increases the possibility of inaccuracy.It should be read directly with love and devotion. By doing this the desired result will definitely be achieved.
