Lord Shiva named as theerthakareeshwarar because of the “theertham”-Holy water produced naturally from the top of hill and rolls down all the way as a small falls where Debbie’s can take bath. This holy water has never stopped flowing as known by the eldest people in the surrounding. A great walk to go up the hill in steps to pray lord Shiva. Other than This it has a great history related to Ramayana also. A must visit when you’re around this area.
