Sharabh avatar:-The Sharabh avatar of Lord Shiva is known for the body of half its bird and half a lion. According to the scriptures, when Lord Vishnu incarnated Narasimha to free the creation and devotee Prahlada from the atrocities of Hiranyakashyapa, he killed Hiranyakashyap but it became impossible to calm Lord Narasimha’s anger.
