It has been under renovation for 3-4 generations. At present this temple has come in a completely modern form.
The architecture of this temple is unique. This pagoda faces east, a pavilion is built around it. The sanctum sanctorum is at a depth of 8 feet from the main entrance of the temple, there are stairs going down to reach the sanctum sanctorum. The main feature of this pagoda is that there is a natural water source in its sanctum sanctorum, which is called Turri in the local language.
The specialty of this water mass is that its speed slows down during the rainy season and its speed increases during the summer season. And he continuously keeps anointing water on Shiva Linga.
Nandi is seated near the Shivalinga in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, facing west. The broken statue of this ancient Nandi is considered by the villagers to be a yard, the same second Nandi was made at the time of renovation near the ghat of Karwal stream facing south in front of the Shivalinga of the temple. During Mahashivratri, a 15-day fair is organized with great pomp in the month of Magh. Apart from various areas of Chhattisgarh, people from Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and other states also reach this fair.
