Dhodmbe is a village with a population of about five thousand people located at the foot of the famous Dhodap Fort in Chandwad Taluka of Nashik District. 50 km from Nashik on Mumbai-Agra highway. Wadalbhoi village is in the distance. One can go to Dhodamba via Bhayale from Wadalbhoi on the left hand side. The distance from Wadalibhoi to Dhodamba is eight km. If so, the distance between Chandwad and Dhodmbe is 26 km. is Dhodmbe village is situated at the confluence of Kadru and Vinta rivers. Villagers say that the village got its name Dhodamba because of the Dhodap fort and the village got its name because of the sage Dhaumya. Dhodamba has two Hemadpanti temples of Mahadev and Vishnu next to each other and this can be called the uniqueness of Dhodamba.

In the village, Hemadpanti Vateswar is the temple of Mahadev and the adjacent Vishnu temple. Both these temples are just 2 to 3 feet apart. There are many small and big temples around the temple. There are many mausoleums outside the Mahadev temple. The temple dates back to the 12th century and the structure of the temple is Mukhamandapa, Sabhamandapa, Antrala and Garbhagriha. Due to this, the external parts of the temple have been created in a different way and it gives a different pleasure to see the idols and carvings on it. Another feature here is that the nymphs here are mounted on various types of animals and are accompanied by servants.

Yakshas are seen supporting the temple on the two pillars adjacent to the entrance of the temple, while the Ganesha patti of the entrance, apart from the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, other mythological deities can be seen neatly carved. As much as these beautiful sculptures, the pillar design and carvings on the walls and the many types of female sculptures on the exterior of the temple are astounding. Although the upper part of the temple is newly built, its decoration is simple but attractive. Vinita river flows behind the temple.
