Vidyapati Dham: – Baleshwar Mahadev temple is situated in Vidyapati Dham, the place where great poet Vidyapati attained nirvana. This temple is famous as Kamana Linga. Today, after Baba Baidyanath of Deoghar, it has become the most worshiped deity in North Bihar. A large number of devotees perform Jalabhishek here during the month of Saavan. Vidyapati Dham is located at a distance of 38 kilometers from Samastipur district headquarters.
