This temple is situated at a distance of 6km from Dwarahat, it is a very beautiful temple and it is situated in a peaceful environment, here on the day of Vaisakhi a big fair is organized in which people from 25 to 30 villages come and present cultural programs.
To reach here, you will have to go to Haldwani from Delhi, near Kathgodam Railway Station, from there you will have to take a taxi or bus from Ranikhet to Dwarahat. Mahadev’s temple is 8 km ahead of Dwarahat, where your mood will change just by seeing it.
A huge stone block in the form of Kapila cow situated on the picturesque banks of Surabhi river near Shri Vibhandeshwar Mahadev located at Dwarahat is a famous historical place associated with the history of Suryavanshi kings. Devotees from far and wide come here to take bath in the Surbhi river and worship this stone block in the form of Kapila cow.

It is believed that by taking bath at this particular place, Vibhandesh Mahadev becomes very happy and he destroys all the sins of his devotees and fulfills all their wishes. Katyuri king Raja Hal Rai, father of Justice Devta Gavelju, also pleased Vibhandesh ji by taking bath in this holy Surabhi river in the month of Shravan and got a just and incarnate son like Bala Goriya.

Special days – Special puja on Maha Shivratri, Monday of Sawan and every Monday of the month and night fair on the last day of Chaitra month (Fair organized by the people of nearby areas at night in their regional attire, language, culture and symbol of bravery).
