Vishwanath Mandir/Pahari Shiv Mandir/Pahari Temple, Ranchi Jharkhand
Pahari Baba is at a height of 300 feet. To have his darshan, devotees have to climb 468 steps. The land area of this hill is spread over approximately 26 acres. The history of the hill temple is quite old. The site of Nag Devta located on the hill is said to be 55 thousand years old. The temple is situated at a height of 2140 feet above sea level and 350 feet from the ground. To reach the temple one has to climb 468 steps. The entire Ranchi city can be seen from the temple. Lord Shiva is worshiped in the form of Linga in the hill temple. There is a huge crowd of Shiva devotees here during the month of Shivratri and Sawan.
