Who does not know about Kashi Vishwanath, the city of world famous Baba Bholenath. One of the twelve Jyotirlingas is present here. According to archaeological importance, this temple of Lord Vishwanath was built with bricks during the time of kings and emperors.

The light burns day and night in the room
The remains were found at the same place where Lord Shivalinga is installed. Balmukund Agrawal, the head of the temple, says that the remains of this 400-year-old temple in Sita Bagicha of Arang are witnesses of antiquity. Once upon a time, sages and saints used to come to this place and perform Tantra-Mantra in the temple. This place was the central point for attaining Siddhi. Here in the temple three sadhus took samadhi 345 years ago. Even today, a light burns day and night in a cave-like room near the sanctum sanctorum. One mausoleum is in the garden and the other mausoleum is on the banks of the pond.
