The temple is within the premises of Koteshwar Temple. The temple is famous by the name of Saptarishi and Vrisheshwar temple. In ancient times, sages Gautam Vishwamitra, Judvi, Bharidahi, Vashishtha, Kashyap, Bhrit, Ati, these sages had worshiped Lord Shiva at this place on the day of Magh Shukla. Shiva was pleased and appeared before these sages and Lord Shiva got established here. There is a huge crowd of women here on Teej Panchami. A big fair is held here on Magh Shukla Panchami.
