What is the importance of Charanamrit?

Share

OM NAMAH SRI VASUDEVAYA

Often when we go to the temple, the Pandit ji gives us the Charanamrit of God.

Have we ever tried to know this?

What is the importance of Charanamrit?

It is said in the scriptures

akalamrutyuharanam sarvavyadhivinashanam.

vishno: padodakam pitva punarjanm na vidyate ..

“That is, the nectar-like water of the feet of Lord Vishnu is a destroyer of all sins and diseases and is like a medicine.

One who drinks Charanamrit is never born again.”

Water remains water until it touches the feet of God.
As soon as it touches the feet of God, it takes the form of nectar and becomes Charanamrit.

When God’s Vamana incarnation took place,
And when he went to King Bali’s yagya hall to collect donations, he measured three worlds in three steps. When he measured the lower world in the first step and started measuring the upper world in the second, then as soon as his feet reached the Brahma world, Brahma ji taking water from your kamandalu
wash god’s feet and then return Charanamrit to your
Kept it in Kamandal.

She became Charanamrit Ganga ji,
Which even today washes away the sins of the whole world,

Where did this power come from? This is the power of God’s feet.
On which Brahma ji had offered ordinary water but as soon as his feet touched it, it became Ganga ji.

It is considered very sacred in religion and is consumed after applying it on the head.

It is said that by washing the feet of Lord Shri Ram and accepting it as Charanamrit (charanamrit), the boatman not only crossed the barrier of existence but also saved his ancestors.

It is said that by taking Tulsi Charanamrit directly in the hand, every auspicious work or good deed gets quick results. That is why Charanamrit should always be taken with the straight hand, but after taking Charanamrit, most of the people have a habit of moving their hand on their head.

In fact, according to the scriptures, it is not considered good to take charanamrit and put one’s hand on the head.

It is said that this increases negativity rather than positivity in thoughts.

That is why one should never touch the head after taking Charanamrit.
