Why are there only three strands, nine strings and 96 threads in the sacred thread?

Three battles of Yajnopavit attract our attention to the three aspects of the universe. According to Taittiriya Samhita 6, 3, 10, 5, three fights are realized by three loans. Rishiruna from Brahmacharya, Devaruna from Yajna and Pitruna from Prajapalan are repaid. Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh are pleased with the worship of Yajnopavithari Dwij. Three trinquity are going to increase the three fighting force, semen and ooze, protecting Vedatrayi, Rik, Yaju, Sama. Sat, Raja and Tama make a virtuous increase of three qualities. It is a symbol of the fame of the three worlds. Dedication to mother, father and Acharya, is a sign of dedication, duty, duty.

It is written in the Samvadiya Chhandogyasutra-Brahmaji made the formula of three battles with three Vedas, Vishnu tried to wise knowledge, karma, worship with these three scandals and Shivji invited Gayatri and put Brahma knot in it. Thus Yajnopavit was prepared with nine wires and glands. Nine deities reside in the nine sutras of Yajnopaveet-
1. Omkar-Brahm, 2. Agni-Tej, 3. Anant-Dahirya, 4. Chandra-Shail Prakash, 5. Pitrgan-S-affection, 6. Prajapati-Prajapalan, 7. Vayu-Swachhta 8. Sun-Pratap, 9. All deities-Samvadarshan. Wearing nine qualities of these nine deities also means nine wires. The person wearing the Yajnopavit should strive to continuously adopt the nine qualities of the gods-Brahma, Parayana, Tejasvita, Patience, Humility, Mercy, Philanthropy, Cleanliness and Power prosperity.

The nine threads of Yajnopavit are also considered a symbol of nine virtues. These are love in the heart, melody in speech, simplicity in behavior, sacred feeling towards women, expression of art and beauty, generosity and service to everyone, etiquette and discipline, self -study and satsang, cleanliness, system and uniqueness, which should be constantly trying to adopt. To accept the opinion of Vedas and Gayatri and chant the Gayatri Mantra only wearing Yajnopavit.

96 is the intention of applying fourteen (chapa), as the Gayatri Mantra has 24 letters and Veda 4. In this way, the total products of the Gayatri mantras of the four Vedas bring 96 letters. Date 15, War 7, Nakshatra 27, element 25, Veda 4, Gun 3, Kaal Sutra 3, Mass 12, all of them are 96. In the body of Brahma Purush, 96 objects of the sutrama pran are lying in the mind of the shoulder, the person wearing such a sense should be kept in the mind.
