Why half parikrama of Shivalinga is done and why Jaladhari is not crossed, know the reason!

Share

Shivji is the original god, Shivji is worshiped in both the forms of Shivji idol and Shivling. But the rules of Shivalinga worship are different, in which some limitations are also inherent. Know the religious and scientific reasons for half the parikrama of Shivalinga…
Parikrama is practiced in many religions. It is believed that by doing Parikrama the sins of many births are destroyed. It is said in the scriptures, ‘Yaani cha papani jnata jnata kratani cha, taani sarvani nashyanti pradakshine pade pade’
That is, by walking each step of Parikrama, many known and unknown sins are destroyed.
🚩Shivalinga is the symbol of combined energy of Shivji-Shaktiji.

In many scriptures including Shri Shivmahapuran ji, the method of doing half parikrama of Shivalinga has been mentioned. The religious reason for this is that Shivalinga is considered a symbol of the combined energy of both Lord Shiva and Shakti. Water is continuously offered to Shivalinga. This water is considered very sacred. The path through which this water comes out is called Nirmali, Somsutra and Jaladhari.
🚩This is why water bodies are not crossed

It is believed that Shivalinga is so powerful that even the water offered on it contains some parts of the energy of Lord Shiva and Shakti. In such a situation, there is so much energy in water that if a person crosses it, this energy enters his body from between his legs.Due to this, a person may also have to face physical problems related to semen or semen. Therefore, in the scriptures, crossing the water reservoir is considered a grave sin.
🚩Understand the scientific reason also
If we try to understand the scientific reasons, Shivalingas are stores of energy and traces of radioactive elements are also found in the areas around them. Traces of uranium have also been found in the groundwater of Kashi. If we look at the radio activity map of India, we will know that radiation is found in the areas around these Shivalingas. If you have noticed the size of the Atomic Reactor Center,So you will see similarity in the shape of Shivling and the shape of Atomic Reactor Centre. In such a situation, there is so much water on Shivalinga.
There is energy that crossing it can cause great harm to a person. The person may even become impotent. That is why crossing the water reservoir of Shivalinga is prohibited.
🚩The lunar circumambulation is done from the left side
During the circumambulation of Shivalinga, devotees go to its water reservoir and return back. In such a situation, the shape of a half moon is formed and that is why this revolution is called lunar revolution. There are also some rules for lunar orbiting. Usually the parikrama is done from the right side, but the parikrama of Shivalinga is always done towards the left side, then one has to return back to the right side from Jaladhari.
🚩Water bearers can cross in these conditions
At some places the water offered on Shivling goes directly into the ground or at some places the water reservoir is covered. In such a situation, complete parikrama of Shivalinga can be done. That is, in such a situation, there is no fault in crossing the Jaladhari, yet efforts should be made not to cross the Jaladhari…
