Why is Kalash used in any auspicious work…….?
In Hinduism, Kalash is established in various religious programs. This is done because according to mythological belief, the Kalash resides in Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh and maternal powers.
Regarding the origin of Sitaji, religious texts mention that when King Janak had a drought in the kingdom and at the behest of Devarshi Narada, King Janaka drove the plow, while running the plow, his fall (Dhar) collided with the pitcher (Kalash) in the land (Dhar) land.
Due to which a sharp sound was generated and Balup Sita was obtained from inside the split urn. The nectar obtained at the time of sea churning was also in the Kalash.
In ancient temples or photographs, Bhagwati Lakshmi is painted by two elephants by bathing with Kalash water. This is the reason that the Kalash is considered to be sacred and a symbol of Mars in Hinduism.
When the Kalash is installed in any worship, it is believed that Tridev and Matri Shakti are seated in the form of Kalash.
According to Jyotishacharya Navratna Vats, the Kalash is established in auspicious works like house entry, house building, marriage worship, rituals etc. There is also a law to decorate the urn with red clothes, coconut, mango leaves, kusha etc.
