Jhulelal Temple:- The statue of Varun Dev sitting on a fish is installed. The statue is situated on the banks of the lake. Jhulelal Temple is worshiped by his descendants. The eternal flame always remains lit in the temple.
Jhulelal Temple is situated on the banks of the holy lake in Pushkar, Ajmer district. This temple has been built by the descendants of Jhulelal. The ghat of Pushkar Sarovar on which the temple is built is known as Jhulelal Ghat. The idol of Jhulelal temple is in the cave and a continuous flame is burning in front of the idol. To protect the religion, Lord Jhulelal was born on the second day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month in Vikram Samvat 1007 from the womb of Devaki, the wife of Saint Ratanrai of village Nasarpur in Sindh.At the age of just 13, Jhulelal ji declared his brother Pugardev the heir to his throne and took water samadhi himself. An attractive statue in the form of Varun Dev sitting on a fish of Jhulelal has been installed in the Jhulelal temple located in Pushkar. In one part of the temple, the genealogy from Jhulelal’s brother Pagur Dev to 26th generation Thakur Ashwani Lekhraj is also shown in the form of a banyan tree.
