This temple is a vivid example of ancient Hindu sculpture. It is said about the Ambernath Shiva temple built in the middle of the eleventh century that there is no temple like it anywhere else in the world. The kind of complexity with which the Dilwara temple of Abu in Rajasthan was built, the same complexity is there in its craftsmanship. This temple is on the banks of river Valdhan and there are mango and tamarind trees around it.

There are two Nandis built outside this temple. The main idol of the temple is Trimastiki, there is a woman on her knees, which shows the form of Shiva and Parvati. The temple built on the banks of river Valdhan is surrounded by tamarind and mango trees. The architecture of the temple is of high quality. An ancient inscription of the year 1060 AD has also been found here. You can also visit the match factories in this city.

Darshan timings in the temple:

The temple remains open for darshan throughout the day. A huge fair is organized here on the occasion of Shivratri in the month of Magh.
