The Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir, also known as the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium or ISKCON Mayapur, is a major Gaudiya Vaishnava temple and the global headquarters of ISKCON. Located in Mayapur, West Bengal, India, it’s dedicated to the deity Radha-Madhava and is a significant pilgrimage site. Construction began in 2010, and when completed, it will be the world’s largest temple.

Chandrodaya Temple, located in Mayapur, West Bengal, is a prominent religious and spiritual destination, revered as the birthplace of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a 16th-century saint and the founder of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition. The temple, which is a project of ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness), is one of the largest temples dedicated to Lord Krishna in India and has become a major pilgrimage site for devotees from around the world.

The Chandrodaya Temple is a blend of traditional Vedic architecture and modern construction techniques, making it a remarkable structure. The grandeur of the temple, with its towering domes and intricate carvings, is awe-inspiring. Upon entering, visitors are greeted with an expansive view of the main temple hall, where deities of Lord Krishna and Radha are beautifully adorned. The temple’s design reflects a deep spiritual significance, with its alignment and layout following ancient Vedic principles.

World’s largest vedic temple which is dedicated to the Pancha-Tattva deities, Radha Madhava, Ashta-sakhis and Narasimha. Anyone can visit the temple and take part in the rituals.
