The Aswaklanta Temple, also known as the Aswakranta Temple, is a historically significant Hindu temple located in North Guwahati, Assam, on the banks of the Brahmaputra River. It’s particularly known for its association with Lord Krishna and his horse, which allegedly rested near the temple site while on his journey to kill Narakasura. This is one of the oldest Vishnu temples in North Guwahati. There’s a lot of structured development around the place. You get an amazing view of the Brahmaputra and it looks even more beautiful at the hours of sunrise and sunset!
