Baba here is self-proclaimed Tilheshwar Nath Mahadev Temple Sukhpur Supaul

There is an ancient grand temple in Sukhpur Solhani Panchayat under Supaul district of Bihar where Swayambhu had come. Baba Tilheshwar Mandir: An ancient grand temple is situated under Sukhpur Solhani Panchayat under Supaul district of Bihar. The elders say that Lord Shiva i.e. Shambhu himself had come here whose glory is limitless. There is no dearth of famous Shivalaya temples in Kosi region too but the glory of Baba Tileshwar Nath is unmatched. Baba’s temple is situated under Sukhpur village and Sukhpur Solhani Panchayat, at a distance of about 10 kilometers from Supaul district headquarters, this Shivalinga was self-established.

The elders under Sukhpur Solhani Panchayat say that Shambhu i.e. Shiva himself had come here. However, no facts have been found yet to prove how true this is. But since ancient times we have been hearing stories that Lord Shiva himself had come here. Baba Tilheshwar Mandir is at a distance of about 10 kilometers from the railway station of Supaul district.

Many interesting incidents and rumors are heard regarding the place Baba Tilheshwar Mandir. Regarding Sukhpur Solhani Baba Tilheshwar Mandir, it is said that Shambhu himself is here. According to the information, it is said that earlier these places were covered with dense forests and the cow herders of the area used to graze their cows. At a particular place the cow would automatically start giving milk.

When this happened continuously, the cow herders together cleaned the said site and informed the villagers of the nearby village. The said sites were excavated and Shivalinga itself appeared. Actually, every day a huge crowd of Shiva devotees is seen in Baba Tileshwar Temple.

But mostly on Sunday and Monday, Jalabhishek is considered to have special significance here, the villagers say that whoever goes to Baba Tilheshwar Mandir with any demand, the self-styled godman definitely fulfills it. According to the information received from the residents of rural areas, it has also been learned that any person whose wishes are fulfilled through Baba Tilheshwar Temple must get a chance to visit Baba Tilheshwar Temple at least once.
