It is believed that Mata Bagiya fulfills all the wishes of her devotees. Actually, every day a crowd of devotees gather here. But, on the occasion of Navratri, there is a rush of devotees here. It is believed that after worshiping Goddess Bagiya Devi on Navratri, every wish is fulfilled by tying a bell and making a wish.

The temple of Maa Bagiya Devi is situated on Rustampur Lahasdi Maheva Bandhe at the southern end of Gorakhpur city. Crowds of devotees gather at this age-old temple throughout the year. Even on Shardiya Navratri, devotees come to the temple of Bagiya Mata to make wishes for nine days.Mother Goddess fulfills all the wishes of the devotees who come here. Here during Navratri, devotees tie a bell and make wishes. After the fulfillment of their vow, they come here again and bow their heads in the court of the Mother Goddess.
