game of karma
A case of a corona patient came to Nayasar Hospital. The patient was very serious.
A patient was discharged and was admitted in his place. The owner of the hospital, Dr. Sharma ji immediately went and examined the case in the ICU. Oxygen was administered. When the doctor came out and told his staff that this person was not suffering from any kind of deficiency or problem. And don’t take advance money from him either.
The patient remained in the hospital for about 15 days. When he completely recovered and the report came negative, the day of discharge came and the bill of about Rs 2.5 lakh for that patient came on the table of the hospital owner and the doctor.
The doctor called his account manager and said… don’t take even a single penny from this person. Do this and bring that patient to my chamber.*
The patient was brought into the chamber on a wheelchair. The doctor asked the patient – “Brother! Do you recognize me?”
The patient said, “I feel like I have seen you somewhere.”
The doctor said. Remember, Navneet, two years ago at 6-7 in the evening you had repaired a car in the forest in front of Greater Noida. That day, I was returning from Vrindavan with my family after having darshan of Banke Bihari ji, when suddenly smoke started coming out of the car and the car stopped.
I parked the car aside and tried to start it, but the car did not start. Darkness was beginning to set in little by little. There was forest and desert all around. Lines of worry and fear were visible on the faces of every member of the family and everyone was praying to Thakur ji to get some help.
Within a short time, my Banke Bihari blessed me or should I say, performed a miracle. You were seen coming on the bike. Out of pity, we all raised our hands and signaled you to stop.
You parked the bike and asked the reason for our problem. You opened the bonnet of the car, checked it and started the car within a few moments.
A wave of happiness ran on all of our faces. We all felt as if God had sent you to us.
Because in that isolated forest, none of us were getting signal on our phones or what was the reason, no one’s number was available nor was the internet working, children were with us and we were worried about them. You had told me that you are here only. Run a garage near.
Expressing my gratitude to you, I said that despite having money, help does not come in such difficult times.
You helped us in such difficult times, there is no price for this help, it is priceless but still I want to ask how much money should I give you?
At that time, the words you said with folded hands in front of me have become the inspiration of my life. You had said that my rule and principle is that I never take anything in return for helping a person in trouble.
God keeps track of my wages. That very day I thought that when a person of normal income can have such high thoughts and follow them with determination, then why can’t I. And I have also taken the same resolution in my life. It’s been two years, I have never faced any shortage, I am getting more than what I expected.
This hospital is mine. You are my guest here and as per the rules given by you, I cannot take anything from you.
It is God’s grace that he gave me the opportunity to serve such an inspiring person. “The one above kept the account of your wages and today he paid that account. The one above will also keep the account of my wages and whenever I need it, he will definitely pay it.
The doctor told the patient…you go home comfortably, and if you ever have any problem, you can come to me without any hesitation. While leaving, the patient folded his hands in front of the picture of Lord Krishna kept in the chamber and said…O Lord! Today you have paid the full account of my work with interest.
