Importance of seeing God.

I have heard from elders that whenever they go to any temple for darshan, after darshan they come out and sit for some time on the pedi or otli of the temple. Do you know what is the reason for this tradition? This ancient tradition was created for a special purpose. In fact, we should recite a shloka while sitting on the pedestal of the temple. You read this verse and tell it to the coming generations too! This verse is as follows-

Anayasena maranam, bina denyena jivanam.
Dehant tav sanidhyam, dehi me parmesvaram.

Meaning of this verse-

Anayasena Maranam – That is, may I die without any pain, may I never fall ill and lie down in bed, should I not die after suffering, may I die while walking.

Bina Denyen Jeevanam – That is, there should be no life of dependence, meaning that we should never have to depend on anyone. Just as a person becomes dependent on others when he becomes paralyzed, do not become dependent or helpless. By the grace of Thakur ji, one could live life without begging.

Dehante Tav Sanidhyam – That is, whenever death occurs, be in front of God. Like at the time of Bhishma Pitamah’s death, Thakur ji himself went and stood in front of him. He died while seeing him.

Parmeshwaram in the flesh – Oh God, give us such a boon.

This prayer should be done.

Specific:
You don’t have to ask for car, girl, boy, girl, husband, wife, house, money, God himself gives it to you according to your eligibility. That is why after seeing God in the temple, one must sit and say this prayer. This is a prayer, not a plea.

Begging is for worldly things, such as house, business, job, son, daughter, worldly pleasures, money or other things. Whatever is demanded is solicitation, it is alms.

we pray ! Prayer has a special meaning – that is, special, best. Archana means request. Pray to Thakur ji and what to pray for, have to recite this verse.

The most important thing-
When we go to the temple for darshan, we should look at God with open eyes. One should visit them. Some people stand there with their eyes closed. Why close your eyes, we have come for darshan. Enjoy the form of God, His feet, Mukharvind, adornment, complete bliss. Fill your eyes with the image of God. Have darshan and after darshan, when you come out and sit, then close your eyes and meditate on the form you have seen.Do not close your eyes in the temple. After coming out, when you sit on the pedi and meditate on Thakur ji, then close your eyes and if you do not remember the form of Thakur ji, then go to the temple again and have darshan of God. After closing your eyes, recite the above verse. This is what the elders say.
