Three colossal chariots and their unique identities.
1). Lord Jagannath’s chariot – Nandighosha
– Colors: Red and Yellow
– Wheels: 16
– Flag: Trilochyamohini
– Emblem: Lord Hanuman
– Distinctive feature: The largest of the three chariots.

2). Lord Balabhadra’s Chariot – Taladhvaja
– Colors: Red and green
– Wheels: 14
– Flag: Unani
– Symbol: Palm tree
– Distinctive feature: Slightly smaller than Lord Jagannath’s chariot

3). Sister Subhadra’s Chariot – Darpadalan
– Colors: Red and Black
– Wheels: 12

– Special feature: The smallest of the three chariots

Every year, during the month of Ashadha, these three chariots travel to the Gundicha Temple in Puri, Odisha. Hundreds of thousands of devotees pull the ropes.
