Regarding the name of temple It is believed that around 1700 a crow found out this Shiva also there are various other stories. It is also believe that once you go to Gosaikund you need to bring the water of Gosaikund and pour in this temple. Also it is believed if crow somehow touched you then you need to visit this temple as it is believed that it is the invitation of Shiva Ji.
