Kanthi Mata Temple is a few steps away from Bacha Park intersection on Begumpul Road. It is said that the sadhus traveling from Haridwar to their destination used to stop here. During the halt, sages used to worship at this place for Siddhi. Kanthi Mata temple was also established by the sadhus.

Along with Mata Kanthi, idols of Shitala Devi, Lalita Devi, Masani Devi and Kho-Kho Devi are also installed in the temple.
Belief: In Kanthi Mata Temple, it is said about the main goddess Mata Kanthi that prayers are offered here for peace from diseases. Mata Kanthi is worshiped for throat related diseases, Shitala Devi for skin diseases, Lalita Devi for heart related diseases and Kho-Kho Devi for cough diseases. During the nine goddess days, devotees from far and wide come to Mata Kanthi temple to pray for their children.
Devotees come here from long distances to get rid of the problems and diseases of children. The temple is decorated with lights during Navratri.If children have problems, then many times by remembering and worshiping Mata Kanthi at home, they get relief from the diseases.
