This is the place which is 10th century structure. Shri Karnamukteshwar Mahadev is a Hindu historical temple which was built by the ruler of Gujarat, King Karndev Solanki of Solanki dynasty. it was started in 942 AD and finished in 957 AD during the reign of King Siddhraj JAYSINH Solanki. Actually, King Siddhraj was earlier a Prince and he became the King from this place. This temple was then built in Karnvati city which means a city of King Karnadev. Today it is located in Sarangpur area of Ahmedabad city.
It is 1200 years old temple of lord shiva. A calm place in the heart of trafdic loaded city area. The temple was renovated during maratha time. It is said that The shivling had a mani on its head which was stolen during mogal time.
