Konganagiri Murugan Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Murugan located at outskirts of Tiruppur Town in Tamil Nadu. The Temple is believed to be 1200 years old.Here Lord Murugan graces along with his consorts Valli and Devayani and blesses his devotees.

It is believed that the Temple was built by Kongana Siddhar, one of the famous 18 Siddhars of ancient Tamil Land. This Centuries-old Hindu temple of Lord Murugan, has an ornate gopuram tower & colorful idols.

The Temple is also considered as Thevara Vaippu Sthalam as it has been mentioned in Appar Hymns. Saint Arunagirinathar had sung his Thirupugazh Hymns on Lord Murugan of this Temple.

During the Moolavar Prastisthapana , the Yantras are embedded in the pedestal itself in this temple which is unique.Normally yantras are installed at the feet of idols in almost all temples.

Also, the miracle of milk that is offered in front of the Lord boils and automatically overflow without heating is a testimony to the sanctity of this temple. This is why this place is worshiped as “Pongu Thiru Thalam”. Another marvel is the pala (palai) tree that grows all over the hill. The people of the region carry a stick of this tree and use it mainly in mangala(shubha) events.

It is believed that devotees pray here to get rid of Marriage obstacles, Graha Doshams and Chevvai(Kuja) Doshams.
