Whenever the children in your home expect food, you should offer Laddu Gopal Ji food and snacks. Then, consider the food to be Laddu Gopal’s Prasad and accept it with love.
Most importantly, you must establish some kind of relationship with Laddu Gopal Ji. Brother, son, friend, or guru are all possible relationships. Whatever relationship you form with Laddu Gopal Ji, maintain it with devotion and faith. Be sure to give your Laddu Gopal Ji a sweet nickname. Call him by this name lovingly when bathing him, dressing him, presenting him with toys, or taking him out for a walk. Just like a member of your family.
Make sure to put Laddu Gopal to sleep every night. Just as you would lovingly put a small child to sleep, so too should you put him to sleep. Pat him, sing lullabies, and tell him stories. Laddu Gopal Ji needs the same love you give your children. Wake him up every morning by calling him lovingly. You can call him by his name.

Nevertheless, the date you welcomed him into your home is his birthday. In addition to Janmashtami, you should celebrate that day as well.
