Let’s talk about this temple, this temple is located near the Jain Temple Raipur in Birgaon Rawabhatha, a short distance from the capital of Chhattisgarh.

Raipur is also the capital of the state and district headquarters, so a large number of devotees come to see this temple.

This temple was discovered by Banjars, hence it is known as Banjari Mata Temple Raipur.

Talk about the construction of this temple, when this temple was built, there is no special evidence in its favor. For this reason, the definite flame of construction of this temple cannot be told.

But an article is found in relation to the construction of this temple, which is said to have been the idol of the mother Bagalamukhi in the sanctum sanctorum of this temple, which was obtained from the nearby forest.

Many articles about this idol are told that a person had a dream about this idol, after which this idol was discovered.

There are two stories in relation to the idol. According to the first story of which – its history is 800 years old. Here, the idol of Mother on a barren land was manifested and kept in a subtle form.

After which a Banjara was noticed on this idol and he told the head of the village about this statue and built a temple here.

According to the second legend found in relation to this temple – the idol of Mata located in the sanctum sanctorum of the present temple was found in a dense forest nearby. People did not have to visit that forest.

Perhaps this is why this idol could not be seen by anyone. After this, 1 day Mata said to be in a Banjara’s dream in a nearby dense forest.

After this incident, after finding the idol of the mother a lot, she was found to be with vermilion under the bushes in one place. This idol was smaller than the present statue.

It is said that the idol of Mother has been increasing continuously for the last 5 years. This mystery of this statue growing continuously has not been resolved by any person even today.

Jyoti Kalash is also established here due to the mother Bagalamukhi.

Nag Nagin couples come for darshan

It is believed that couples of serpent serpent come here for darshan. In relation to the couple of this serpent serpent, it is believed that earlier only one couple used to come here, but gradually many couples of Nag Nagin are seen coming here. The priests of the temple claim.

In relation to this temple, it is claimed by the priests that the king of the forest used to come here to see the mother. Now it is not known how much truth is there in this matter, but this claim is made by the priests of the temple.

The mother located in the sanctum sanctorum is considered to be the Kuldevi of Banjars and was also the main hand of Banjars in finding it, so Banjari Mata was named and it is known as Banjari Mata Raipur.

After the construction of this temple, it came into a dilapidated position, which was again given a grand appearance by its devotees.
