Maheshwar Mahadev/Charan Teerth Mandir Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh

The Shiva temple here is situated at Charan Teerth on the Baitrvati bank in Vidisha. The temple was built 275 years ago by Subedar Ape Rao Khande Rao ji of Gwalior state. A black colored Shivalinga is installed on the Garbh Garh ground. There are two deep pillars in front of the temple. Located on the side of the temple, the sculpture of the temple is very beautiful and attractive. The festivals of Makar Sankranti and Shivratri are celebrated with great pomp in the temple.
