Mamleshwar Mahadev Temple,Mamel,Karsog

Mamleshwar, the Ancient temple situated in Karsog Valley of Mandi district. The distance from Mandi and Shimla is almost same around 110Kms to reach temple. Mamleshwar Mahadev is the presiding deity of valley. The ancient temple is devoted to Lord Shiva and Mata parvati. Temple is beautifully sculptured with wood and stones and incredibly mesmerizing. Interesting facts which the very famous Bheem dhol, the Ancient Wheat grain of 250 grams, the agnikund which still can be seen burning, in courtyard 5 Shivalinga altogether and as per old beliefs the 81th Shivlinga which pandvas couldn’t complete.
