Mote Mahadev is seated in Narsinghpur, where Shivalinga grows every year.

Mote Mahadev is present in Malah Pipariya village of Narsinghpur, who is famous for his unique glory.

The temple is in Narsinghpur, where the installed Shivalinga increases by one inch every year. This temple of Narsinghpur is famous by the name of Jambheshwar Mahadev Temple and Mote Mahadev. ‘Mote Mahadev’, seated in Malah Pipariya village, situated in the remote valleys of the north bank of Mother Narmada, about 15 kilometers from the district headquarters, fulfills all the wishes of his devotees.

It is said about the temple that when the fat Mahadev was seated here, he was in the shape of a small pindi, gradually his size increased and today his size has become four and a half feet in height and 11 and a half feet thick. It is said that Dhurandhar Chaudhary, a moneylender living in Malah Pipariya village situated on the banks of Narmada, had a dream of Lord Bholenath. On the basis of which he brought Shivalinga from the forests of Hinotiya and got it established here.

Regarding the history of the temple and Shivalinga, it is said that this idol was established during the British rule. As soon as the British got information about this, they demanded this Shivalinga from the priest, which the priest refused to give. It is said that the British believed that there was a gem inside this Shivalinga, but Malgujar and his ancestors had refused to give this Shivalinga to the British.

It is said that this Shivalinga is unique, which grows by one inch every year. With the growth since its establishment, this Shivlinga has now become four and a half feet high and 11 and a half feet thick.
