MUTHUMARIAMMAN TEMPLE
The Sri Muthumariamman Temple in Hanover is one of the first Hindu temples in northern Germany.
It is sponsored by the “Tamil Hindu Cultural Association”.
The temple was realized in 2009 with the support of numerous members and supporters in honor of the supreme Hindu goddess Muthumariamman.
With almost 300 members, the association contributes to making interreligious dialogue and Tamil Hindu culture more perceptible in Germany. Furthermore, it is very important to us to offer the Hindu believers a piece of religious identity and home.
We’ve only been able to do this because we have a vision of something we believe in.
