The history of this Shri Ramlala temple is more than 150 years old. Maharaja Rawat Randhir Singh was married in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. When Queen Rautain Baghelin left, she also brought with her the statue of Ramlala sitting on the throne. It was he who established the temple. This temple has been the main center of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir movement. A grand procession was taken out on the day of Shri Ram Navami in the year 1988, since then this tradition is continuing.
