There are many temples in India for which it is believed that in these temples God fulfills the wishes of the devotees. One such temple is in Kashi i.e. Varanasi. This is the temple of Santaneshwar Mahadev. They are considered to give happiness to children. Husband and wife come here in search of a child, and They pray to Lord Shiva to have a child. According to the belief, whichever husband and wife worship in the temple with true devotion, they will soon be blessed with a child. This temple is located in the street leading from Kalbhairav to Chaukhamba in Kashi, house no. Located at 34/4.
Special Rudrabhishek happens every Monday.
Actually, every day a large number of devotees come here to have darshan of Santaneshwar Mahadev.
On Mondays, the number of couples desirous of having a child in this temple is quite high.
Performing Rudrabhishek here on this day is considered to have special significance.
The temple is mentioned in Shiv Purana.
Although there is no clear history regarding the construction of the temple, there is mention of Santaneshwar Mahadev in the Kashi section of Skanda Mahapuran.
It is also mentioned in Shiva Purana. According to this, if a childless couple performs Jalabhishek in Santaneshwar Mahadev of Kashi and offers Bilva Patra to Lord Shiva, then they get the happiness of having a child.
