Shiv Mandir Deogaon/Devgao Pataleshwar and Jamadagneshwar

This temple is situated on the banks of river Narmada. This place is the penance place of sage Jagadambi. Here Pataleshwar gives darshan in the light form of Mahadev. There are three domes of pointed shape. Shivlinga is installed in all three. In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, a flat black stone with a special coating is installed on the ground. The temple is established with Sahastrabahu gate.When devotees perform Jalabhishek on Shivalinga with water and milk, the Lord is seen in a special light form. The living tombs of saints remain here.
