Shree Shiddh Khedapati Hanuman Mandir Gwalior

The 250 year old statue of Hanuman ji of Khedapati Hanuman Temple Gwalior surprisingly left its original form and came in the form of a child.

Gwalior, under the state of Madhya Pradesh, India, has been the holy place of sage Galav since ancient times. Here is the ancient temple of Sankatmochan Siddh Shri Khedapati Ji Hanuman Ji. The popularity of this temple can be gauged from the fact that devotees start coming here for darshan from 4.00 in the morning and this program continues till late night.

In September 2014, the almost 250 year old statue of Hanuman ji in the city’s Khedapati temple surprisingly left its original form and took on the form of a child. Regarding this change, the Mahants of the temple told that this idol of Lord Hanuman ji is more than 250 years old. During the special consecration in the temple on Thursday night, the idol started shedding its clothes and came back to its child form hundreds of years old.

Recitation of Ramayana and Sunderkand continues in the temple. When the wishes of Khedapati ji are fulfilled, the devotees provide food to the poor and do appropriate charity.
