Dhopeshwar Nath Temple : The temple of Dhopeshwarnath located in the cantonment area is thousands of years old. Draupadi’s guru Dhrum Rishi had performed penance here in Dwapar Yuga. During this time he established Shivalinga here. Since then its name became Dhopeshwarnath. A few years after his demise, this temple became famous by the name of Dhopeshwar Nath. Many devotees also call it Dhopa Temple.

The chief priest of the temple said that by worshiping Chalisa in the temple, all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled. But, it is believed that the devotees complete their Chalisa only after worshiping at the temple of Gopalasidh Baba located in Kyara on the last Monday of Chalisa.
Features of the temple
The lake built in the temple is the center of attraction for the devotees. Its specialty is that bathing in it cures allergic diseases. The priest told that he had made a vow here when the Begum of Nawab Shuja-ud-Daula of Awadh did not have a child. After his wish was fulfilled, the Nawab himself got the kutcha stairs built on the banks of the lake concrete.Dhopeshwarnath temple is also one of the proven seven Nath temples located in Nathnagari. Here Shiva and Parvati are present in one form in Shivalinga. Every wish made with a true heart is fulfilled here.
