This Shivalinga is naturally formed. Every year on Mahashivratri and Sawan Monday, Kanwarias reach here after long journey. Located in Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh, this Shivalinga is called Bhuteswarnath. Which is also called Bhakurra, like the twelve Jyotirlingas, in Chhattisgarh it is recognized as Ardhanarishwar Shivalinga.
The most amazing fact is that the size of this Shivalinga is continuously increasing every year.
Probably that is why the number of devotees coming here on foot is continuously increasing every year. In Chhattisgarhi language, the sound of hooting is called Bhakurra, hence their name is Bhakurra in Chhattisgarhi.
