Shri Kashi Kaamkoteeshwar Mandir

The Kamkoteshwar temple on Hanuman Ghat is among the most sacrosanct temples in Varanasi. This temple was established and is governed by ‘Kanchi Kamkoti Peetham’, and has been built in South Indian style of architecture.

The Shikhar is adorned by the innumerable finely carved idols of different Gods and Goddess. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is enshrined in the sanctum and surrounded by idols of Lord Vishnu, Goddess Durga, etc. Regular puja is performed at the temple.
