Shri Kunda Kunda Acharya Janmabhoomi/Kunda Kunda Aacharya (Konda Kunda) Janm Boomi Konakondala,Andhra Pradesh
It is believed that Kundakunda (Kondakunda) Acharya was born two thousand years ago in Konakonda region. then region was ruled by Satavahana kings..This nobleman is one of the highest acharyas in Jainism (belonging to Digambara sect). He wrote many books like Samayasara, Niyamasara. it seems that Konakondala village got its name after this nobleman. There is a wooden school of Jambudvipa Chakra on a rock near Konakonda village. There are also idols of two Jain Gurus.
Kund Kund Acharya Devki stone engraved idol and Jambudweep Chakra which is very ancient and unique.
The three hills which were once sanctified by the tiny feet of Kund Kund Acharya Dev still exist and hold the archaeological remains of the grandeur of ancient Jain temples.
